Universal Robots comply with the RIA safety specification R15.06 - This simply means that, for most cases, there is no requirement for safety guarding. Programming is done intuitively: simply grab the robot arm to the desired positions and save each waypoint. The robot is controlled from a handy, touch-sensitive screen with a graphic user interface.
